Hello!

Ben Avny is a Graphic Designer based in Queens, New York. He attended The School of Visual arts majoring in Graphic Design, graduating in 2012. Soon after, he was hired by Creative Director Dirk Barnett to join the design team as a designer at The New Republic magazine working on information graphic pieces until 2014. Shortly after that, he was hired by Creative Director Stephen Goggi of NewBay Media to join their design team as Associate Art Director working on Guitar World, Guitar Aficionado, and Revolver magazines until 2015. He was then Contacted by Michael Regan of Karim Rashid Inc, having interned there in mid 2010, to be brought on as designer working under Graphics Lead, Peta Yeap. In 2017, after Peta’s departure, he was promoted to Director of Brand Design overseeing all Branding/Graphics projects until his departure in 2020.
